Principal's Message

St Joseph’s Convent Sen Sec School, Bathinda, greets all of you, the readers. Today my heart swells with gratitude for the great man of God, the founder of Bethany and prophet of our times, Msgr R F C Mascarenhas, whose vision and mission brought St Joseph’s, Bathinda into existence.

St Joseph’s aims at ‘Fullness of life for all’ especially the girl child, the poor and the marginalized through its multifarious activities and value based education. The school always strives to stay on the cutting edge of a new and sound educational programme, with a strong support of dedicated and well qualified teaching faculty, co-workers, students and parents committed to excellence. I hope to see our students realize in their lives what Dr APJ Abdul Kalam says, “We are all born with a Divine fire in us. Our efforts should be to give wings to this fire in us and fill the world with the glow of its goodness.”

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AT VAISAKHI MELA 2026

The remarkable achievements of our talented students who showcased their brilliance at the Vaisakhi Mela 2026, organized by Chidiyaan Da Chamba Chardikala Foundation, Bathinda on 15th April 2026. Baneet Kaur of Class 8th A, secured the 1st Position in Speech Competition and also won the 3rd Position in Painting.Mavisha Goel of Class 7th A, clinched the 1st Position in Painting.Guneet Kaur of Class 7th A, earned the 3rd Position in Solo Dance.Aishleen Kaur of Class 6th E, secured the 3rd Position in Solo Dance.

A MEDAL AND A CERTIFICATE AT INDIAN SCHOOL TALENT SEARCH EXAM

Varuni Goyal(4-D) won a medal and a certificate at Indian School Talent Search Exam(Online).

GOLDEN VOICE AWARD

Ma'am Prerna Kalia was honoured with the Golden Voice Award by Bathinda Film Foundation at 5th Bathinda Film Festival 2026 held at Balwant Gargi Auditorium, Bathinda on 29th March 2026.

OUSTANDING PERFORMANCE AT SHOOTING COMPETITION

Anantesh Singh of Class VI A secured a Silver Medal, while Zorawar Singh of Class won a Gold Medal in the Under-12 category at the competition held on 5th April at Guru Nanak Shooting Range.

OUR CHESS CHAMPIONS

Our students showcased outstanding talent at the Chess Championship organised by the Bathinda District Chess Association on 3rd April at Teachers’ Home, Bathinda. Aarav Arora of Class VIII-A attained the second position in the Under-13 Open category, Unik Bindal of Class IX-F claimed the second position in the Amateur Below 1700 Open category, and Sidak of Class III-E emerged as the second-place winner in the Under-7 category.

GOLD MEDAL AT MATH MAGICIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Our students participated at 19th Math Magician National Championship. Jannat(5-E)won a gold and a silver medal with a certificate. Drisha(4-D) won a trophy.
