Principal's Message

St Joseph’s Convent Sen Sec School, Bathinda, greets all of you, the readers. Today my heart swells with gratitude for the great man of God, the founder of Bethany and prophet of our times, Msgr R F C Mascarenhas, whose vision and mission brought St Joseph’s, Bathinda into existence.

St Joseph’s aims at ‘Fullness of life for all’ especially the girl child, the poor and the marginalized through its multifarious activities and value based education. The school always strives to stay on the cutting edge of a new and sound educational programme, with a strong support of dedicated and well qualified teaching faculty, co-workers, students and parents committed to excellence. I hope to see our students realize in their lives what Dr APJ Abdul Kalam says, “We are all born with a Divine fire in us. Our efforts should be to give wings to this fire in us and fill the world with the glow of its goodness.”

Our students participated in District BTI Annual Wushu Championship 2026-27. Rabaabjot Kaur(2-A)won Gold medal,Janav Garg(2-B) and Anahad Kaur(2-C)won Silver medal.

CERTIFICATE AT WINGWORD POETRY PRIZE 2026

Mrs Monisha Lorraine Antony represented our school in the Wingword Poetry Prize 2026, held on 7th April 2026. The Wingword Poetry Prize India’s largest annual writing competition and thousands of young poets from across the country send in their work. Mrs Monisha submitted her poetry and was awarded with a participation certificate.

Dhruvin(5-A) and Anaisha(3-D) won a trophy and a certificate at JRC Litfest.

RUNNER UP TROPHY AT UCMAS STATE LEVEL ABACUS COMPETITION

Harjot(3-A),Aadhya and Divisha(3-B),Naman(3-E),Turag,Pihu and Pavit(3-D) and Ranjodh(5-A) won runner up trophy at UCMAS State Level Abacus Competition.

JRC LITFEST 2026

Our students who participated JRC Litfest 2026 – Book ‘O’ Friend that was conducted on 26 April 2026 at St. Kabir School, Bathinda. 1. Amayra of Class VI C received certificates for completing 4 workshops. 2. Aradhya Kohli of Class VI C received certificates for 5 workshops and won a trophy in the Open Mic session. 3. Kavreen of Class VI C received certificates for 5 workshops and also secured a trophy in the Open Mic session. 4. Ananya of Class VI C received certificates for completing 3 workshops.

SILVER MEDAL IN THE DISTRICT LEVEL KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Prabhsimran of Class VIII A as she secured the Second Position and won a Silver Medal in the District Level Karate Championship in the Under-14 category held on 25 April 2026 at Teacher’s Home, Bathinda.

GOLD MEDAL AT SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP

Prithamteshwar Singh Dhillon(X-F) secured the First Position and won a Gold Medal in the 10m Sub Youth Pistol Men Category at the shooting championship organized by Singh with Guns Shooting Academy on 24th April 2026 at Mansa.
